Literature Text

They say life requires heat. But the people of Gario never require it. Our world became from the cold nothingness, and that's why we are born alone in the cold nothingness. How do we survive? We are blessed with such an ability by Force, so we need little to go on. But the blessing has its bindings; we are, most truthfully, the followers of the Force. We are bound to its will, and thus we do what it wills us to do. Between the interstitial sides we are torn apart by the destructive jealousy of the Dark side and the soft goodwill of the Light side.

Of course we can use other resources to power our bodies. In fact, we can tear ourselves away from the Force's will and become Force-sensitives like other sentients, but then we would lose most of what truly makes us people of Gario. We would no longer be warriors we aspire to be. We would no longer be able to survive in cold nothingness. Now would that be worth it? Rarely any of us thinks so. We were, after all, born that way.

We are that way.
Cold, vacuous.

We are Gario.

FFM 2016, day 19. Interstitial was the word and the optional theme I drew inspiration from Ekpyrotic Model of the Universe. So I decided to write from the point of view of the people of Gario, who call themselves by that name. Partly written on my phone because I wasn't at home for a while and not on my laptop for most of the time I was at home, but I finished this on my laptop.
